Things I realized yesterday...

..if you leave a sport for quite a while, all muscles that you had while playing it are gone and you lose all kinds of vertical that you had. The net is alot higher than I remember and I don't know if it's just me, but people are setting differently these days. I sure know one thing though. I'm fucking sore as hell!!

Glee

Alright...here it goes..

I FUCKING LOVE THIS SHOW!!!!

I swear this show ROCKS!!! I don't know if it's because I can really relate to the dorkiness of it all and mix it up with the rock star and what would've been dreams, but this show to sum it up is pretty much ME!!

I swear every time I've seen an episode of this show I get so happy watching it, it's kinda like finally someone got it! A light clicked in someones head and finally got it!!

Back when I was in high school, doing something in the arts such as drama, band, choir was a fucking social suicide. I did it anyway and I did get some slack from some people for doing these things. I never cared and now this show flips it all around!! It amazes me how finally all these cliches of stereo types and social heirchy are being demolished by new and innovative shows that focuses on believing in yourself and accepting who you are. It's brilliant. Then again, these types of shows are brought to you by those same people that got tormented in high school for being "uncool" and not part of the popular clique. Imagination and creativity can take you a long way and it's about time people start realizing it.

GO GLEE!!!!!

Finally out of downtown Vancouver!!!

so on Monday Leesh and I met with Tina and her friend Nathalie and they brought us to Granville Island. This was the first time we felt like we were away since we were finally near the ocean and had a great view of Grouse mountain in the background. Later on that night we ate at Miku. When I say that this was the best sushi I've ever had, I really mean THIS WAS THE BEST SUSHI I'VE EVER HAD!! Like I DIE!!! Sorry just to reference "I Die", Leesh and I have been watching the Rachel Zoe project and it's HILARIOUS!!

Anyway so on Monday Leesh and I decided to walk around downtown Vancouver. I mean thats what we pretty much did the whole time there from Sunday to Wed. We also did the Big Bus tour on Tuesday and that was entertaining. But on Wednesday we didn't walk around. We went to this restaurant GUU on Tuesday night and I decided to eat something with raw egg. Lets just say I thought it was cool at the time but in reality it did me in the whole day Wednesday. We pretty much stayed indoors cause I felt SICK!. Thats alright though since it was raining all day.

Later on Wednesday, Cristina came and picked us up and saved us from the enclosed sea wall of downtown for dinner at Chambar with Marty and his wife Eileen. That was a fun dinner and the first meal I had for the day. On the way to the restaurant Cristina decided to show us the real scary side of Vancouver. Keep in mind this whole trip I've been complaining how crazy the homeless people are down here and as soon as she took us to East Hastings, you realize where they come from. DAMN! They all are all up on this street, it's not even funny. In fact it's scary! It's a good thing we were in the car hahahahah!

So mid conversation during dinner last night, Marty mentioned that his younger brother worked for EA (Electronic Arts) and asked me if I wanted a tour....WHHHAAAAAATTTTTTTTT?!?!?!?!? I said HELL YEAH!! So thats what were doing tomorrow! Thanks Marty! I'm really excited!

Today were going to Metropolis at Metrotown. It's this HUGE ass mall and we are just going to walk around and shop. We are also suppose to meet Wes so I think I should send him a message after this.

Anyway as we chill now at Cristina's house, were glad to be blessed with a view and a scene away from the homeless people LOL!

Blogging from Vancouver!

We arrived in RAIN FILLED Vancouver this morning at around 9am western time. We checked into the St. Regis and this hotel is SOOO NICE! With our package we get free wifi and free breakfast! Since our room wasn't ready this morning, we decided to go to the Vancouver Aquarium! That place is awesome!! I finally saw a Beluga for the first time AND my beloved seahorses!!!!!!!!

When we were in Toronto last week, I was checking around to see if there were any Vancouver Tattoo shops around the area. Turns out that this shop down the street from us here had an artist that I really liked. We returned from the Aquarium and headed there and I booked a consultation appointment for 12pm tomorrow. Lets hope it pans out.

The sun is out in Vancouver now and were at the hotel getting some much needed rest before we head out to dinner. Really all we've had was an A&W breakfast sandwich when we arrived and now were STARVING! Good thing dinner tonight at Coast is at 5:45.

I would post pics but stupid me forgot the cable at home..oh well..

If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge anything!!

In a month I start my Dodgeball league!! LOL!!! Our team consists of me and a bunch of people from Oakville and I can't wait till this one starts! It's going to be HILARIOUS!!! I saw this league about a year ago but I didn't have enough people to put a team together but thankfully Kristine wanted to do the same thing and rounded up all the O-town peepz to make this happen! This should be interesting! Dodgeball on Sundays and Volleyball on Mondays! Now if only I can find a place to get private tennis lessons then Im set for the fall and winter.
