CAN WE BOOK NOW PLEASE?!?!

2 more weeks till were scheduled to leave and now finally I think we have picked a place. We were close today in going back to Punta Cana with Jim, Adaiah and Marques but it ended up that the plane only had 2 seats left! BOOOOOO!! So we finally decided that we would do our separate vacations on the same week. Next year for sure!

So this place that Leesh and I are going to has been a place I've wanted to go for about 3 years now since it's opened. The main reason I want to go here is the beach. Thats it! I'm not going to go into detail with it cause knowing everything thats happened, a deal might happen tomorrow and all of us will be going as a group again but for now, I'll leave you with a picture of the beach.

Turn that frown upside down

The end of last week was one of the most stressful weeks of my life. We did some major restructuring at work and a lot of my good friends there got let go. I don't know what is more depressing, the fact that they lost their jobs or the fact that I still have to go to work everyday and not see those people there. It sucks. Don't get me wrong, I am so relieved that I still have my job. To be honest I don't know where to start if I did lose it but I am not in anyway shape or form taking this for granted. Tomorrow is the official Day 1 of the new day at work. Lets see how it goes but I wish all my ex-coworkers all the luck!!

HOLY SHIT!

You must give this a listen to! I don't know how I got to finding these guys on the net, but I'm fucking glad I did. Francis and the Lights to me is basically like a mixture of Prince meets James Brown meets MGMT. It's GROSS! Like GOOD GROSS! I've been on their site for an hour now and seriously they are amazingly SICK!!! The shitty part is that I just found out that they are playing at The Drake for a 3 night stint...I wonder if I could get tickets. Check it out!

I'm In LOVE!!

Doing my usual morning routine, I check craigslist to see if there are any good deals on some guitars. I found one. I have been looking at this guitar for quite sometime and to know that it is basically affordable makes me cringe even more at the fact that this guitar could be mine BUT we all know it must pass the approval of a certain someone. Not of the money factor, but space...we shall see who wins this.."BY THE POWER OF GRAYSKULL.." yeah right who are we kidding, she'll never let me bring this into the house. It's so sexy though isn't it??!?!

Less than a month to go before our vacation and we STILL don't know where to go. We were close earlier but Jp and Lyn might not be able to come with us anymore so now were on the search to go with another couple. Leesh and I REALLY don't want to go with just the two of us again. We've done it so many times that it's come to the point where we have nothing to talk about when we are down there lol! We still got a bit of time before we book so hopefully we can find someone to go with. Otherwise, it's same old routine as usual.

NEW TOY!!!!

So for the last 2 years I was rocking a Panasonic Lumix DMC something...the one with the 10x zoom and a Sanyo Xacti E1.

It was really stupid to have 2 cameras. One was for vacations (being waterproof) and the other was for just regular use. I know there was the Olympus one but I really wasn't digging that camera and I knew a better one was going to come out. It sure did!

I just bought the Panasonic DMC-TS1 in Blue. This camera does everything my Xacti did which was go underwater (but can go deeper and for longer), be waterproof/dust proof and now it's also shock proof. This also takes amazing pictures out of the water like my old Lumix but wait here is the kicker...it takes HD video's!! WHOOT WHOOT!!!

I can't wait to use this when I go on vacation in a month or so...Jp and I on vacay with HD video...HMMMMM...LMAO!!!! BTW I really loved the Orange one but I do agree with leesh when it was too bright. I can't wait to play around with this! Seriously!!
