DID IT AGAIN!!!

Looks like I'm living up to the promise I made myself to surf at least once a year and I think this time it's something that will stick for real! I got in contact with someone in Punta Cana to go surfing and it just so happens thats the place I LOVE to go to the most! It's amazing since I found this guy a couple of days before my trip and I'm really glad that it happened!

The waves were HUGE and too choppy for my liking. Very hard conditions for a beginner to get up on but I did manage to get a couple of waves in which was a good thing. I was also excited that for the first time Alysia got to see me do it! I was really happy she was there to see it all but just the whole "roughing" it aspect makes me worry about her sometimes but she toughed it out and managed. The more I do this sport, the more I love it. The only difference is now is if I can commit myself to the fitness level this sport deserves. I mean it's really hard for me to accept the fact that a 60 year old man lasted longer than I did lol!

Well I'm really happy that I got to go again! The next time I hope it's with my boys. I think it will be a good bonding trip and an excellent way to have fun in a different way!
