MY NEW MICROPHONE!!

I went to Cosmo Music with Ed tonight and I bought my mic. Real funny story, this really nice Jamaican guy named Bob came up and helped us and when I was talking to him he asked "Where ya accent from?!?" I said "Umm I'm Filipino, do I sound like a FOB?!?!" then he goes "No, you sound like yuh from Jamaica!" LOL Thats the second person within a week thats asked me that, and oddly enough both were Jamaicans LOL! I'm just going to run with it next time..

Anyway, so I bought my new mic. I tested it out for a bit but I got to wait till leesh is out of the condo so that I can fully belt out some tunes but so far so good. Sound quality sounds so much better thats for sure! Up next, time to start writting again! Oh yeah and I finally came to grips with the fact that NO I do NOT need a new guitar! LOL Yes Leesh I know...

MY NEW HEADPHONES!!!

I just recently made a decision on my headphones..I ended up buying these lovely Ear Pollution DJ Style Union headphones from iFrogz! They look frigging SEXY! LOL!

Music Music...all about Music

First I want to start off by saying that I'm finally getting a grip on learning my guitar. The new Garageband 09 is a great tool, but it's the amazing community at ultimate-guitar.com that is really the one to give credit to. If you want to see how to play some chords or tabs of some songs, go to that site.

I'm also starting to record and write songs again. Slowly getting back into it but I need a couple of things to get started...I need a mic and a good pair of headphones. Since my macbook doesn't really come with great speakers, I need something to let me know that what I'm recording isn't shit. Just using the macbook speakers alone can't let me hear all the levels I'm doing. I'd buy speakers but thats just pointless since I stream my music to my PS3 anyway when I want to listen to music out loud.

The mic I want to get is this, the Blue Mic Snowball mic. Oddly enough, I've been doing research on it this week and I saw it on Making The Band last night. Will was using it. The headphones I want to get is by Skullcandy. I'm a fucking Skullcandy WHORE! Ask Leesh. I love their products wether I really need them or not. The next pair I want to get are these SK Pro headphones. I LOVE the color!! I already have a pair of in ear Skullcandy earphones and I love them. I had a pair of black lowriders before but I gave them to my brother cause they were too hard to travel with, but I know these SK's are bulky but they are really just for the purpose of making music.

BTW, Kelly Clarksons new album is GROSS! I'ts really good. One guy that you should look out for to is Daniel Merriweather, I can't wait till his album comes out. His single Change right now is in my head...it gets in my veins! Thats how you know if it's a good song or not. Another guy you should all give a listen to is Ryan Leslie. My favorite song of his is Gibberish. Anyway give those guys a listen and hopefully I've helped expand your musical library. I know alot of people open me up to new things and I appreciate that. There is so much good music out there, old and new.

IT STILL HURTS..

Almost to the week of Tango passing, the whole situation still upsets me. To tell you the truth, this hit me A LOT harder than I expected. I know whomever is reading this is probably like "Dude, it's a dog, get over it"..well you don't know what you don't know. So if you are one of those people...FUCK OFF!

Anyway, it's like I'm missing a piece that I can't fill back in. I don't know what it is. The only one who can really tell me what I'm feeling is Alysia. It's fucked up thats for sure. Yesterday I was about to go to my parents to pick up his collar and shit but I just couldn't....ahhhh I don't know...I'm just rambling...but fuck, it sure still hurts man...I miss you buddy!

So...one weekend, Leesh was doing her nails. While she was doing that, I was on the bed listening to music. So to keep out of her way, I just bent my legs so that I don't hit her and get her nails all messed up...anyway I fell asleep and the mean girl took this. Whats funny about this video is at the end. Sometimes I don't know how tall I really am LOL

OLD GUY...

I got to get this out of the way. It's been bugging me. A lot of people these days have been calling me "OLD" because I seem up tight and just don't want to party it up and live it up and basically do things on a whim like I used to. I got a newsflash for everyone...it's called GROWING UP!

Yes I don't party like I used to because:

1. Drinking like that again will kill me (it's already caused me problems)
2. My money can be best used somewhere else
3. I got nothing to prove.

I'm not a friggin lost kid anymore trying to find his niche in the world. I'm not. I know who I am and basically I can't be coerced into doing things anymore just for the sake of "doing it". I'm sorry, I'm not being a bitch or anything but don't some people realize that there are other shit going on in other peoples lives? Can't they just respect that? I've also realized that I am a loner in reality.

Anyway if making decisions for myself, keeping myself happy and basically living my own life how I want to makes me an old man, then happy fuckin 90th birthday to me!

WHO CARES?!?!

Yesterday I was wearing my Hurley skinny jeans which cost me $20 at a store. Personally, I don't like spending more than $70 on jeans. I think it's stupid when people pay $200 and up for jeans. It's fucking JEANS people...anyway so yesterday someone at work came up to me and said, those are nice jeans. So I then proceeded wit "Thanks, they are Hurley and I got them on sale for $20" This person then comes back and says "Mine are high end, sold only in 30 stores in the world". He wouldn't even say how much they cost. The sad thing...I didn't even notice anything special about them. Like I said, WHO CARES!!!! If they look good, they look good no matter the price!
